FILM CRITIC FILM
When video podcasts came up I started with experimental mini series exclusively produced for the internet and iPod. As founder and co-editor of the weblog Film und Kritik I did some videos about cinema while the 56th Berlinale happend and published them on our blog.
The moment above was shot in the underground train station at the Potsdamer Platz in the center of Berlin. I like the rhythm and the unintended choreography. The piano comes from a sound installation behind the camera. The video is inspired by James Benning and his film One Way Boogie Woogie / 27 Years Later.
